چکیده
Abstract The main challenge of ultrasound‐guided minimally invasive surgeries is to carry out treatments through small boreholes in the patient's body surface with sub‐millimetric accuracy and facility offered by ultrasound instruments. Thus, phantoms' biomimetic appearances, acoustic characteristics, mechanical properties are essential for healthcare professionals. In this study, gelatin 3D‐printed photo‐resin phantoms were developed hard soft tissues, respectively. Using glutaraldehyde (GA) formaldehyde (FA) crosslink phantoms, strength, velocity, impedance, needle insertion forces, antiseptic periods improved, addition silica nanoparticles raised impedance. For impedance ascended hydrophilic polyethylene glycol diacrylate (PEGDA) oligomers. additives applied study successfully made more mimetic muscle bone allowing their application preoperative preparations.

Design of a Haptic System for Minimally Invasive Cardiac Surgeries
In the present paper, we describe the mechanical design and working principle of a haptic device to be used during minimally invasive single port access cardiac surgeries. The details to hardware/software design and implementation to electronically actuate the device will be also presented. The viability of the design will be demonstrated by integrating the virtual representation of the left ve...

Collecting data under regular conditions inside an operating room is a complicated and time-comsuming venture. Tight safety regulations have to be accounted for, like e.g. sterility, biocompatibility of materials, interference with regular workflow, and more. For recording high quality data, the different data-streams have to be precisely synchronized. The multimodal extendable recording system...

This paper presents a new surgical robotic system called EndoBot for assisting surgeons in performing minimally invasive surgery(MIS). The EndoBot is designed for collaborative operation between the surgeon and the robot. The demand on the surgeon is higher during suturing task which is the primary tissue approximation method and has been known as one of the most diÆcult tasks in MIS. Our work ...
